POETIC JUSTICE 'A Play On Words'

Me Performing My Favourite Monologue at
Poetic Justice 'A Play on Words'

So I was asked to perform a monologue at a Poetry Event in March. At first I was little skeptical about it, worried that people would wonder if I was at the right event. But I took it as a opportunity to stand out, and thought I needed a slightly strange and 'quirky' monologue that stood out also. I found the the perfect one. 2 years ago when I trained at Identity Drama School, I performed a monologue at our end of year show case which gathered a lot of attention and thought, hey, why not do it again . . .  a character that is so far from my own. I had a lot of fun with it although it was incredibly short, check out the pics and the video below,  I hope you enjoy it.

Character: Jasmine
Play: 'Sweethearts' by Aleks Horvat
